My thrifting adventures - Vintage Supre?!

I went thrifting on the weekend (surprise, surprise) and picked up some goodies. I've been really into red and gold lately which I blame on Craig from the last season of Project Runway Australia because he designed a gorgeous collection for the finale based on red and gold. So obviously my purchases would be a gold jacket and red suit! The jacket is not quite the gold I'm looking for... it's a little green(?) for my liking but hey what can you do?
Now to the red suit! what can I cay about the red suit??!!! ahahaha spotted it on the rack a mile away and ran towards it.... the shoulder pads! the glaring red! the pants! oh the pants! It looks ridiculous! The pictures I took really doesn't do it justice because the shape can't be seen. I don't think I would wear the jacket and pants together because it's a little much but never say never! What I love most is the material, it's like an embossed croc skin print with a sheen of gold.... bright fire engine 80's pant suit with huge shoulder pads and a hint of gold??!! I'm so there!!!! And what's the icing on this awesome mess??!!! it's vintage...SUPRE!!! is that even a thing?? who cares! it's effing hilarious!! ahahahahahahaha

OOTD - H&M groupie for life

On my second trip to South Korea at the end of 2010 I discovered what just maybe heaven on Earth *cue choir of angels*...... H&M!!!!!!!!! OMG how much to I love this place!! The clothes are to die for and the prices are reasonable (ish). But what I think I love most is specifically the H&M in South Korea is the sales! I'm not sure about other countries but the sales in South Korea are awesome especially when you convert the price into Aus dollars!!! I went to H&M everyday religiously when I was there, you know it's good when they have two H&M stores literally 100 meters away from each other in the same shopping district (Myeong-dong) and it's constantly packed. I checked out other places like Forever 21 and Zara but nothing beat H&M for me, the clothes are exactly my style. I kinda regret not buying more things while I was over in Seoul because there were a lot of things that I loved but I was stingy and only went for the sale items.... So enough with the H&M fan-girling because anymore would just make me depressed that we don't have one in Aus :(

My outfit of the day featuring my H&M black and white blazer, which I recently found out Rihanna wore in her "What's My Name" music video! Now I just need the red hair a la Ronald McDonald ( I would seriously consider it if I could).......

OOTD

Got this blazer for half price at the thrift store, only $8.99!! Although it's a size 16, it fits well when belted or even left as is -it sorta looks like an oversized dress. The lady there was giving me the weirdest look when I wanted to try it on like "WTF is she doing with ginormous blazer!" but she just couldn't see my vision (which was going no pants!! ahahahaha). The thing about thrift stores are that the sizes are generally a bit big (well the places I go anyway) so I always just belt everything at the waist so I don't look like I'm wearing a super stylish sack... beggars can't be choosers when it comes to thrifting, you just have to just make do.

STYLENANDA order arrived (review coming soon!)

Disclaimer: I bought all these products with my own money and these are my true and honest opinions, I am in no way affiliated with stylenanda.com.

I ordered a couple of things off of STYLE NANDA (http://en.stylenanda.com/) and received my order three days ago, it took ten days for the package to be delivered to Australia by EMS which I think is pretty good. BUT!! In the box there was a note saying in order to get my items delivered as soon as possible some items are missing and will be shipped later so I'm missing a gold watch that I ordered.....errmmm I don't know how I feel about that.... it just better come soon!!! Anywho here is what I got so far......

1. Here is the box the package came in

from left to right: GT05, GT01, GT03, GT02, GT08, GT07
Love the packaging, very stylish!
2. Glitter nail polishes ($4.59 US each): I ordered a variety of glitter nail polishes because I love the bling bling! On the website the nail polish seemed quite dense from the pictures with a lot of glitter paritcles, I hope it's the same in real life....

how to use (cr: http://en.stylenanda.com/)

3. Black mascara ($19.08 US): The interesting thing about this mascara is that the wand changes in its length and width by twisting the bottom (I'm such a sucker for novelties). It's suppose to give extra length and volume because the different sizes of the wand do different jobs.... we'll have to wait and see.

The picture on the website, big difference hey?!
4. Two pairs of glasses ($12.02 US each): I don't need an excuse to buy glasses so these were a given cart item when I was browsing STYLE NANDA. I'm disappointed how the beige ones turned out :( The picture on the website made them look more beige in colour with hints of green, sort of like marble? anyway they turned out more of an orange/brown colour and not as opaque and looking more cheaper than I thought :(

3. Freebie: Lastly I got this navy nail polish for free. It's nothing extraordinary but you really can't go wrong with navy nail polish so keep them freebies coming!!!!

I also got a grey nail polish just to push my cart over $100 dollars so I could get $10 shipping (they offer $20 shipping for orders under $100, $10 shipping for orders $100-$200 and free shipping for orders $200+). And I'm waiting for my gold watch....

So that was my first taste of STYLE NANDA, the clothes and accessories on the site are cute but a little expensive for me so I only ordered a couple of things especially since I can't tell the true quality of them, I don't want to risk a lot of money and be disappointed in the end *cough cough beige glasses cough cough*

OOTD - apologies to the girl with the green hair

Been absolutely obsessed with thrifting lately, I just can't get enough! I go just about every weekend because I'm afraid that I'll miss out on a treasure and someone else might get their grubby fingers on it ahahaha. I picked up this leather jacket for along with another one for an absolute bargain for real leather. I had the two in my hands and was tossing up which one I should get, a girl with green hair was eyeing them in my arms waiting for me to put them down so I had to get them both! I mean if some one else wants it, it means that it's awesome right??!! I know, I know I'm a greedy hoarder but I can't help it. I'm always frantic when I go into thrift shops, going through racks as quickly as possible and looking out for competition (other shoppers) ahahaha I'm a maniac! So to the girl with the green hair, I'm truly sorry..... but it's a jungle out there.....
The yellow polka dotted top was one of my very first thrifted items and I have been hooked ever since.
